The Core Identity

IGQWT is built on culture, authenticity, and the authority of reputation — the idea that if it’s not made by GoddyQ, it’s not official. The name plays on the phrase “In God We Trust,” without being blasphemic, anchoring the brand in credibility while signalling creative leadership. At its core, IGQWT represents trust, authority, and the stamp of authenticity in the creative space.

Design Solution

Inspired by the American seal of authority, the circular emblem makes the brand feel official and iconic, almost like a badge of honour. The bold monogram and type treatment were designed to demand attention, aligning with the brand’s authoritative stance, while a subtle nod to Ghanaian culture comes through in the black star featured. We originally explored using an eagle (long a symbol of authority) as part of the emblem, but shifted direction to embed elements of an eagle’s wing into the wordmark and logo mark — keeping the strength of the idea while refining it into something unique.
